BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Expect long delays on Slater Road this week.
Public Works crews will be paving on Slater Road near its intersection with Northwest Drive, which could affect drivers exiting I-5 at Slater Road going east.
Northwest Drive remains closed with detours in place as part of a culvert replacement and paving project.
The county asks travelers to avoid the Northwest and Slater Road areas if possible, and expect delays when driving through the area.
