The Whatcom County Council has published the process it will use to fill the at-large vacancy on the council.
At a special council meeting Tuesday at 6:00 pm, each council member will submit up to three choices from the list of 28 applicants.
The top five votes will have three minutes each to talk to the council at a meeting Tuesday, January 16th, at which time the council is expected to decide on the appointee.
