WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Some areas of Whatcom County are seeing more COVID-19 infections than others.

The Whatcom County Health Department updated data June 15th, that shows the rate of confirmed cases of COVID-19 per 100,000 residents in each of the seven school districts in Whatcom County.

The data shows Blaine, Mt. Baker, Bellingham, and Ferndale have the lowest rates of the illness in the county.

Meanwhile Meridian has the highest rate with Nooksack Valley and Lynden close behind.

According to the data dashboard, as of June 14th Whatcom County has had 453 confirmed cases, 53 hospitalizations and 14,177 total COVID-19 tests.
