BELLINGHAM, WASH. – Whatcom County had a lot of rain and snow this winter but it didn’t set a record.
The Bellingham Herald reports there were 33.67 inches of precipitation in Whatcom County during the winter of 2016-2017.
That ranks 10th in the 60-year records kept at the Bellingham airport.
The wettest winter was 1975-1976 when just over 39 inches fell.
Seattle recorded its wettest winter ever this year.
