OLYMPIA, Wash. — Washington drivers are still waiting to see lower gas prices that have been showing up around the rest of the country.
Gas Buddy says gas prices nationally dropped by over 3 cents per gallon last week, while Washington State saw only a 1 cent drop.
The site forecasts prices to continue dropping, given the current price of oil in the $60 per barrel range, and the end of the summer driving season nearing.
AAA reports Whatcom County drivers are currently paying about $3.36 a gallon on average.
