BELLINGHAM, Wash – Foreclosures are becoming rarer and rarer in Whatcom County.
The percentage of foreclosure in January dropped nearly one percent from a year ago to 2.3%.
The downward trend in not likely to slow down anytime soon.
The number of mortgages in serious delinquency is also lower than it was last year.
It’s down almost 0.5%.
