BELLINGHAM, Wash. -The wind made the news again Sunday in northwest Washington.

About 1500 Puget Sound Energy customers woke up without power this morning, in eleven outages as of 5 a.m. scattered across Birch Point and Point Whitehorn, Custer, Lummi Island, Alger, and Conway in southern Skagit County.

Some trees and branches  have been blown down over roadways around Whatcom County.

Gusts are expected above 40mph throughout the day Sunday.
