BELLINGHAM, Wash.- It may be irritating to find out you’ve overdrawn on your bank account.
But a Whatcom County man found out the hard way that pulling a knife on a teller and demanding money won’t magically make his financial issues disappear.
Court documents state that the suspect walked into a WECU location on Monday, August 29th and was told his account was overdrawn by $300.
In response, the suspect pulled out a knife and demanded $200 from the teller.
A security officer was able to quickly put 37 year old Daniel Rydberg in handcuffs until officers arrived.
