BELLINGHAM, Wash. – New numbers for the State show Whatcom County grew over the past year.
More than 216,000 people now call our county home.
That’s about a 1.8% increase compared to last year.
Nearly 87,000 of those people live in Bellingham.
It grew 2.2%.
All of the cities and the unincorporated areas of Whatcom County saw population increases.
