BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Motorists will be greeted with lower gas prices at the pump this Christmas.
A new report from GasBuddy says prices have seen one of their largest seasonal declines this year with the national average down 53 cents per gallon.
Patrick DeHaan with GasBuddy says motorists are saving $10 to $20 per fill up compared to just two months ago.
The tech company reports prices now average at just overĀ $3.162 per gallon, while nationally the average is $2.369.
Surprisingly, AAA reports drivers in our Whatcom County, where gas prices are usually some of the highest in the state, are paying about $3 for a gallon of gas, putting us right in the middle of the pack in Washington.
