BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Whatcom County is still working to recover from the “Superbowl Flood.”
Emergency Management says Team Rubicon is beginning deployment to Marietta.
A site assessment determined that while water remains over some roads and in properties there, operations can begin.
The Whatcom County Health Department is delivering dumpsters for debris disposal and American Red Cross is working with the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office to address any unmet needs.
The state has requested formal Preliminary Damage Assessment forms by February 19.
