BELLINGHAM, Wash. — People who haven’t kept up on payment of fees ordered by Whatcom County Superior Court will soon have to pay up or pay more.
Accounts that aren’t current will be turned over to a collection agency at the end of the year, which will add collection fees to the amount owed.
The court says now is the time to contact the Superior Court’s Legal Financial Obligations Clerk to avoid having accounts referred for collections.
A reminder from Whatcom County Superior Court. At year-end the Court will turn over financial obligations ordered in criminal cases on which no payment was made to its collections.
