BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Whatcom County Treasurer is waiving fees for online property tax payments.
Taxpayers can pay online using electronic checks at no extra charge through April 30th.
The County will be temporarily absorbing these transaction fees to provide an alternative to taxpayers paying in person at the County Courthouse.
County Treasurer Steven Oliver says the goal is to reduce walk-in traffic at the courthouse as much as possible for the health and safety of everyone.
