BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Another solid local jobs report.
Numbers from the Employment Security Department show Whatcom County’s economy added about a thousand jobs in May.
The estimated local unemployment rate was 4.5% last month, down slightly from April and the lowest it’s been since October.
