BLAINE, Wash. – A group of Whatcom Countians didn’t know what to do about Hurricane Harvey.

So they put together a rummage and bake sale.

Event coordinator Eydie Berry said volunteers from around the county got together after seeing the disaster unfold in Houston.

Furniture, books, toys, clothes and cash donations poured in by the truckload as Berry spread the word.

The sale is happening September 8 and 9 at St. Anne’s Church in Blaine.
