BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Despite challenges stemming from the coronavirus pandemic, Whatcom County’s housing market remains strong.

That’s especially true for the Bellingham market.

The median sales price of a Whatcom County home was $450,000 in the third quarter, up 12.5% from the third quarter of 2019, according to local real-estate broker Troy Muljat of Muljat Group Realtors.

The number of homes sold in the county jumped up 13.2%.
