BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Local COVID-19 testing sites will change locations next week in order to avoid harsh winter weather.
The Whatcom County Health Department is moving testing to a new location at the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds in Lynden, replacing current testing sites, starting December 1.
The new location will protect those being tested, as well as site volunteers and staff, from rough weather conditions and will ensure fewer weather-related testing cancellations.
Between November 25 and 30, the testing site will vary between the Fairgrounds and existing sites with no testing on Thanksgiving Day.
