BELLINGHAM, Wash. — If you’re in need of ideas to keep kids busy while stuck at home, the Whatcom Humane Society can help.
Be Kind To Animals Week is the first full week of May and Whatcom Humane is looking for kids to create posters to help them celebrate.
Kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade are eligible and the theme is: “Why is it important to treat all animals with kindness, compassion, and respect?”
Winners will be showcased in the humane society’s 2021 calendar.
