WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Police in both Whatcom and Snohomish Counties are asking for the public’s help in finding a wanted criminal.
Court documents state that 26-year-old Lane Phipps shot a man in the chest during a fight in Ferndale on June 14th.
Lynnwood Police added that Phipps is accused of shooting at officers and committing several other crimes at an auto parts store on Tuesday, July 5th.
Phipps faces attempted murder, felony harassment, and assault charges.
He has an extensive criminal history in Whatcom County, dating back to 2013.
Phipps was last seen driving a black 2011 Jaguar with a temporary tag and is considered armed and dangerous.
