BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Whatcom Community College STEM programs received a $44 thousand donation from local businesses.
Chemco, Phillips 66 and Tulalip Tribes Charitable Fund donated goods and monetary funds to support Whatcom’s science, technology, engineering and math programs.
With the donations, Whatcom received equipment for use in their chemistry lab, a high performance liquid chromatography system and money to purchase software.
In a news release, Whatcom said more than 170 students each year will benefit from the donations.
