BELLINGHAM, Wash  –

Another major retailer has suffered a data breach—this time it’s Whole Foods.

Whole Foods says the credit and debit card information of customers who bought meals or drinks at its in-store restaurants or tap rooms may have been exposed to hackers.

These company says its in-store restaurants use a different point of sale system than the company’s primary store checkout systems, and payment cards used at the primary store checkout systems were not affected.

The supermarket chain, which was recently acquired by Amazon, has set up a link on it’s home page to a website that allows customers to see if a store they’ve visited is involved in the breach.

The Bellingham Whole Foods store is listed as an affected location for the breach.

The company is not revealing when it discovered the hack but says it is investigating.

The Whole Fsoods store in Bellingham opened in May of 2016.
