BELLINGHAM, Wash. – There is a wind chill advisory in effect for western Whatcom County until 10 a.m. Monday morning, December 19th.
The National Weather Service says we could see wind chills as low as 15 below zero in some areas.
If you must venture outside, make sure to bundle up and wear hats and gloves to avoid the possibility of frostbite or hypothermia.
Main roads around the county are mostly clear this morning, but side roads are still covered with snow and ice.
The forecast is for 1 to 3 inches of snow tomorrow, Tuesday, December 20th, in western Whatcom County.
But the National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the Cascades and valleys of Snohomish and King Counties lasting until Wednesday, December 21st at 4 a.m.
They are expecting 5 to 11 inches of snow in those areas.
