BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect for western Whatcom County and the San Juans until 10 p.m. Thursday, December 22nd.

Wind chills as low as 10 degrees below zero are possible.

There is also now a Winter Storm Watch in effect for western Whatcom County.

That starts tonight at 10 p.m. and runs through 10 p.m. tomorrow night, Friday, December 23rd.

Total snow accumulations of up to three inches and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an ice are possible.

The National Weather Service says it will be a complex mix of wintry precipitation that could have significant impacts in our region.
