GREEN RIVER, Wash(AP)- A woman nearly drowned in the icy waters of the Green River near Flaming Geyser State Park Tuesday afternoon.
Tim Perciful with Mountain View Fire and Rescue says three inner-tubers somehow flipped over, a man was able to pull the woman to shore.
“They floated to that island and he was on the island with her and then we instructed him to do CPR on her as we were trying to get over.” Perciful says.
Rescuers were able to get a pulse on the woman and she was taken to Harborview in critical condition.
The other two were not injured.
Perciful says none of them were wearing life jackets.
