MARYSVILLE, Wash. — A Marysville man faces vehicular assault and DUI charges after troopers say he severely injured a woman when he crashed into an SUV that she and a man were pushing.
The State Patrol says Brittany Slattery of Sedro-Woolley was in an SUV in the right lane of I-5 in Marysville just after 2 AM Sunday morning as a man and woman helped push the vehicle off the road.
Troopers believe Glen Castillo of Marysville was intoxicated when he struck the SUV and the people pushing it.
The woman was taken to Providence Hospital while the man suffered only minor injuries.
No one else was hurt.
