SEATTLE, Wash. (AP) – A woman killed in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood was shot by her husband, according to police who say it happend during an argument in an Uber car in front of the driver.
Cameron Espitia is being held on $3 million bail for investigation of homicide in the death of his wife Jennifer.
Court documents say the Uber driver told police couple were arguing in his car when he heard a boom.
The driver thought a tire burst, but then realized the woman was shot.
Police say the driver kept driving until Espitia ordered him to pull over.
That’s when the driver called police.
The woman died at a Seattle hospital.
Police say Espitia told them he was having a bad night and had been drinking.
