BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A new workgroup is studying internet access in Bellingham.
The City of Bellingham has appointed nine members to its Broadband Advisory Group, which will look at internet access and affordability and review options for future use of the City’s fiber optic network.
Having municipally owned broadband infrastructure would increase internet availability and affordability.
The group will meet once a month until Fall 2021 and its first remote meeting is Tuesday at 6 p.m.
