HEATHER MEADOWS, Wash. – Crews plowing their way up to Artist Point made new progress ahead of the holiday weekend.
WSDOT says that the gates to the Terminal Lake parking lot have been opened as of Friday, July 1st.
The Heather Meadows Visitor Center and restroom area are now accessible to the public.
The full road up to Artist Point remains closed as crews continue to remove snow from the roadway.
