BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The holiday season is here, which means a lot of people out on the roads.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says roads can be very dangerous during holiday travel.
Barbara LaBoe with the Washington State Department of Transportation said response team crews “tell me again and again is that if people could slow down and give themselves extra room between vehicles, that would prevent the majority of crashes they see on the roadway.”
WSDOT has many tools on their website to help you “know before you go” and give you an idea of the easiest, safest way to travel, LaBoe said.
