EVERSON, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol has named the pedestrian killed in a crash in Everson earlier this week.
Troopers were called to investigate a person kneeling in the middle of State Route 9 near George Rd around 11:30 Tuesday morning, March 15th.
A semi driving south in the area changed lanes to avoid hitting the individual, but the person lunged into the semi’s trailer.
The person, identified as 18-year-old Chase Bodell of Abbotsford, was pronounced dead at the scene.
