SUMAS, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol is continuing their investigation into a fatal motorcycle accident near Sumas.
Investigators said in a statement that the accident occurred Saturday, April 2nd, just before 5 p.m. on SR 547.
74-year-old Robert Michael of Maple Falls had a medical episode while riding his motorcycle and crashed into a pole.
Michael was taken to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
