BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol is sounding the alarm about vehicle break-ins and thefts along Chuckanut Drive.

Trooper Jacob Kennett says trailheads along the scenic route are high theft areas.

When you park your car, it’s important to make sure valuables are not visible.

It’s also crucial to make sure you aren’t leaving spare keys in your car while your out hiking.
