The Washington State University men’s basketball program has added to their staff. Cougar head coach Ernie Kent has announced that Elwyn McRoy will join the team as the recruiting coordinator.
“Elwyn is a seasoned, dedicated, passionate student of the game of basketball,” Kent said via press release on wsucougars.com. “In this role, he will allow us to be very effective and efficient as we move forward as a staff.”
McRoy comes to WSU after two years at Coppin State in Baltimore, Maryland, where he served as the associate head coach and an assistant coach. He has also been an assistant coach previously at Iowa State, Arkansas State, Georgia Southern and Texas-Pan American.
