BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Western Washington University students are spending their spring quarter learning remotely, but they shouldn’t get too comfortable.

WWU fully expects their main campus in Bellingham as well as locations statewide to be open as usual for the fall 2020 start.

University President Sabah Randhawa says he is encouraged by recent reports that revised their COVID-19 death toll estimate to a lower number.

Still, he says we must not let our guard down, so the University is implementing additional safety measures to prevent the spread of the illness, including a virtual Spring commencement and a fully remote summer session.
