BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Sunday’s scheduled Great Northwest Athletic Conference softball doubleheader between Western Washington University and Simon Fraser University has been rained out.

WWU and SFU will attempt to make up the GNAC doubleheader sometime in April. Saturday’s doubleheader that was scheduled to be played in Burnaby was also postponed due to scheduling conflicts and will be made up in April as well.

The Vikings (12-8 overall, 5-5 GNAC) travel to California tomorrow to begin a 9-game road trip. Western faces Stanislaus State on Tuesday in a doubleheader starting at 4 pm and Sonoma State in a neutral-site game on Thursday at 6 pm. The team will then play six games in the Tournament of Champions in Turlock, California, beginning with games Friday against Academy of Art (4:30 pm) and San Francisco State (7 pm).
