BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Next Wednesday, September 26, a new exhibit on mountaineering will open at Western Washington University’s Wilson Library.
The new exhibition “To the Mountain Top: A Social History of Mountaineering” looks at the love of high altitudes, and the multifaceted topics that revolve around mountaineering.
Special Collections Librarian Michael Taylor says it showcases historical photographs, rare books and manuscripts from Western Libraries’ division of Heritage Resources.
The display will be up until March 22.
