The Western Viking men’s and women’s basketball teams both suffered losses Monday night in holiday tournament play. The men lost to Southern Nazarene 85-74 at the D2 Power Invitational in Hawaii. The Vikings have one more game in Hawaii Tuesday taking on Emmanuel College of Georgia at 3:15 Pacific time.
The Western women lost on night one of the Viking Holiday Hoops Classic to Lubbock Christian 67-54. The women host Stanislaus State Tuesday night at 7:30.
