The Western Viking men’s basketball team beat Alaska Fairbanks Thursday night 70-62. Junior forward Trevor Jasinsky led the Vikings with 23 points. The men next host Alaska Anchorage 3:00 Saturday afternoon.
The Viking women lost to the #1 team in the country Northwest Nazarene 86-73. Emma Duff had 18 in the loss for Western. The women next host arch-rival Central Washington Saturday night at 7:00.
