BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Western Washington University students will be welcomed back to campus in fall 2021.
Western president Sabah Randhawa made the announcement on the university’s website today, saying the introduction of vaccines and a continued focus on prevention measures in Washington and in the U.S. gives school officials reason to believe that conditions will begin to improve by fall quarter.
The university has utilized mostly remote teaching since last spring in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
