BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A prestigious Seattle economics publication relied upon by Seattle government and private industry is now produced at Western Washington University.
The Bellingham Business Journal reports Hart Hodges and James McCafferty of Western’s Business Research Center have taken over publication of the quarterly Puget Sound Economic Forecaster.
Hodges told the Journal the 25 year old publication fits work they were already doing with economic forecasting in Whatcom County, and provides a good hands-on learning opportunity for Western students.
