BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A student at Western Washington University has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a WWU Campus Advisory sent Monday, the Whatcom County Health Department confirmed the patient is a female in her 20s who lives off-campus in Bellingham.
She was tested for the virus at the Student Health Center on Western’s campus.
The school says it’s collaborating closely with the county health department as their response continues.
