The 10th-ranked WWU volleyball team opens Great Northwest Athletic Conference play tonight on the road at Central Washington University (5-3). The Wildcats were picked No. 4 in the preseason GNAC coaches poll.
The Vikings (6-2) are coming off a 3-1 showing at the D2 West Region Volleyball Showcase in Anchorage, Alaska, beating nationally-ranked opponents Cal State San Bernardino and Concordia-Irvine.
Tonight’s match gets underway in Ellensburg at 7:00pm.
WWU remains on the road Saturday with a match versus Northwest Nazarene (9-0) in Nampa, Idaho.
