BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Western Washington University senior guard Taylor Stafford will play in tonight’s Reese’s® Division II College All-Star Game as part of the festivities in the NCAA Division II Elite 8 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The game is scheduled to start at 5 pm PT/7 pm CT and can be followed via Live Stats and a Facebook live webcast.

Stafford (Chicago, IL) put together an All-American season, being named a First Team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and Basketball Times. He was also named First Team All-West Region (NABC, CCA), GNAC Player of the Year, GNAC Newcomer of the Year, First Team All-GNAC, GNAC Tournament MVP and tied a conference record being named GNAC Player of the Week four times. He was also recognized for his work in the classroom as a GNAC All-Academic team selection.
Stafford helped lead the Vikings to both the Great Northwest Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament titles, ranking third in the conference and in the top 20 in NCAA Division II in scoring by averaging 22.8 points per game. He became the first player in WWU history to score 700 points in a season (706) and recorded the second-best scoring average in a single season in program history. Stafford scored 20 or more points in 20 of 31 games, and led the GNAC with eight games with 30 or more points. WWU finished the season with a 25-6 overall record and advanced to the NCAA II West Regional as the No. 3 seed.
