FERNDALE, Wash. – The Ferndale School District levy will be on the ballot in November.

The District says that, if approved, the levy will replace the current levy used to fund schools, which expires next January.

The district will ask voters to approve the levy at $1.50 per thousand of assessed value for two years.

That’s lower than the current rate of $2.17 per thousand of assessed value.

It would allow the district to restore some programs and protect jobs for staff and it would pay for technology that is crucial for at-home learning.
