MARBLEMOUNT, Wash. — A Marblemount man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center after crashing on the North Cascades Highway Monday morning.
The State Patrol says 20-year-old Edison R. Bergsma was going too fast when he lost control of his pickup and hit a power pole near mile post 103, just west of Marblemount.
Troopers say Bergsma was not wearing a seatbelt, and his pickup was totaled.
