WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – A young boy will make history in Blaine tomorrow (sat) after walking about 4200 miles from Key West, Florida to Blaine.

Just 11 years old, Noah Barnes will become the youngest person ever documented to have walked across the continent.

But, he’s not doing this for fame, he’s been walking with his dad for almost a year to raise awareness about diabetes.

Noah has had type one diabetes since he was 16-months-old and he’s hoping for a cure so he doesn’t have to be stuck with needles all the time.

Noah’s March will culminate Saturday.

He’s expected to reach Peace Arch Park at about 3 p.m.

People can meet Noah at Birch Bay’s Market square at 10:00 am Saturday and finish the last leg of his journey with him
