Former Seahawks punter Rick Tuten dies

The former University of Miami and Florida State star played seven years for the Seahawks between 1991-1997. He went to the Pro Bowl for Seattle in 1994 and earned the nickname “Bootin’ Tuten”.

Catcher David Banuelos, who played in Bellingham last year, went in the 5th round to the Seattle Mariners. Washington Husky outfielder Jack Meggs went in the 10th round to Oakland. Meggs played for the Bells in 2013.
