Sentencing has been set for March 9th in Whatcom Superior Court.
The suspect remains in the Whatcom County Jail, where he also faces several misdemeanor charges in previous crimes.
The suspects were booked into the Whatcom County Jail on assault charges.
But the board says last years’ $515 million in legal sales were still the most of any year other than 2021.
Director Erika Lautenbach said that the name change recognizes the increase in community-based services within the department.
Only King County had the same number of deaths occur during that time.
Penalties and late fees were put on hold in June of 2021.
Registration opened on Wednesday, February 1st, with a cost of $140 per team.
Forecasts say that we could see gusts up to 60 mph in western Whatcom County and San Juan County.
The funding comes from the Safer Streets and Roads for All initiative established by the federal infrastructure law passed in 2021.
