Bellingham is “ALL IN” For Climate Action Week taking place from September 23 to September 29, 2019. The week will be full of free events, activities and presentations to discuss climate change on a local level. Amy Cloud from the City of Bellingham joined Tessa on the afternoon news to highlight some of the events and explain why Climate Action Week is important.

  • 5:45 p.m. – ​ Racing Extinction – A Documentary (Pickford Film Center)
  • 7 p.m.​ –  ALL IN for Climate Action Week Kick-Off (Bellingham City Hall)

Tuesda​​y, 9/24

  • Noon –  Climate Action for Smart Businesses (Squalicum Boat House)
  • 5 p.m. –  Energy Efficiency and Home Improvement Fair (Building Performance Center)
  • 6 p.m. –  Celebrating Earth, our Common Home (Lairmont Manor)

Wedn​esday, 9/25

  • 5:30 p.m. –  E-bike Ride (Bellingham High School)​

  • 3:30 p.m. –  Shared Electric Scooter Demonstration (Granary Building)
  • 4 p.m. –  Green Power X (Aslan Depot)
  • 5 p.m. –  Help Telegraph Town​homes Go Solar! (Cordata Presbyterian Church)
  • 6 p.m. –  Go Solar, Save the Planet, Save Money Workshop (Firehouse Event Center)
