The Adopt-a-Block program is a collaborative effort between several local agencies with the goal of keeping Birch Bay clean. The program encourages community members to adopt a portion of their watershed, committing to keep them free of garbage, debris and other contaminants. All volunteers are also trained to monitor and improve conditions on local roadways, creeks, beaches and bluffs and report any problems they see.
